A live roleplay lance should be easy enough to get. I've a fire axe and shortsword at home, i'm looking into haivng some live roleplay weapon style entrneching tools and sykes fairbairne made.

btw that site has reprints form dozens of battle strips.

I've recently bought charlies war bks 1 - 4

I reckon the guy in the m43 cap on that pic for 'hammer force' looks a bit liek you tony, you shoudl crop it for an Icon. very large version on p23 of that link suitable for playing about with for icons for the three of you!

HI, I'm new to the forum (and ww2 airsoft in general - Hells I'm pretty new to airsoft) and as a long time fan of Sven Hassel I love the fact that there are more fans out there.

'Cause I'm a lazy sod who can't be bothered to do any research of his own, what would I need to get to replicate the look of my forum tag?

PS. I had to be The Legionnaire, Swarthy, (used to be) thin and about the same height.

Bloody hell, talk about Zombie threads

Welcome Albert ...um ...most of the original 27th Panzers have now disappeared  , although they were a fine bunch of lads and sorely missed (hoping they come back one day) . As the Old 'Un I wear Feld graus ranked as Oberfeldwebel , little amount of bling and carry a pipe. Porta and Tiny used to wear Panzer black uniforms complete with Bowler and Yellow topper, and Barcelona just the regular Panzer blacks with a pocket full of oranges . Choice is up to you , reckon Panzer blacks or Fledgrau is equally acceptable , and since it's fiction , there's no one to question it . :spam:
From memory Kalb is good with a knife....um ....worth getting a switchcomb perhaps?

One set was enough don't need nutters in every county :slap: dual wielding MP40s was a speciality of the Pzrs
Give it a go , we had two Heides at one point , but never found a Sven .

Tiny might have dissapeared from view, but he'll always be lingering about somewhere. Things have got a bit awkward (wont go into detail, long story) which is why i've not been on the forum or to any games, but i'm taking steps to fix things.

Anywho, welcome to the leigonnaire :D

My Two Cents.....

I was a massive fan of Sven when I was a youngster, and having just got into WW2 airsofting I'd very much like to affiliate myself the 27th. I was on borrowed kit at Haggard but once the postman does his funky thing I'll be in posession of my first full loadout very soon :D
I've also picked up a second mp40 as my mate that came to Haggard didnt enjoy it so much.
What places left would suit a 40 and a bit year old southern softy airsofter?
As my new M40 uniform is bare, what insignia would I be looking to get?
Cheers Jim

Bog standard Heer gear will do you well, or go for the Panzer blacks if you must .

....we have no Legionaire, Gergor Martin or Sven .....mind you of the original crew Tiny and Barcelona have both done a bunk .

The main characheteristic to join the 27th is to have your tongue firmly in your cheek and live up the reputation of the books to the full .....
